26 arrested by CHP on DUI charges in Sonoma County

A man found urinating out a car door was among 26 people arrested over the weekend on suspicion of drunken or intoxicated driving, the CHP reported Monday.

Four people among those arrested had no driver's licenses, four had suspended licenses and six people had previous DUI convictions, Officer Jon Sloat said.

A combination of methamphetamines and a prescription medication were attributed to a Saturday motorcycle crash involving driver Owen Tarr Miller, 44, of Sebastopol, Sloat said.

At 1:20 p.m., Miller apparently lost control on a curve on Mill Station Road near Ragle Road near Sebastopol, Sloat said.

Miller, who has a previous DUI conviction, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries and was expected to be booked into the Sonoma County Jail when released, Sloat said.

Also Saturday, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa man flipped a 1987 GMC Sierra pickup on southbound Highway 101 near Highway 12 in Santa Rosa when he struck a guardrail, Sloat said. Nolan Myers, who failed a field sobriety test and has two previous DUI convictions, was arrested, Sloat said.

Just after 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Juan Erik Vigil-Albor, 23, of Santa Rosa pulled up to a Circle K convenience store on Healdsburg Avenue in Healdsburg, opened the door and began to urinate, Sloat said.

A CHP officer and Sonoma County sheriff's deputy following reports of a drunken driver saw Vigil-Albor, Sloat said.

Vigil-Albor's blood-alcohol limit tested nearly twice the legal limit, Sloat said. His driver's license also had been suspended, he had a previous DUI conviction and was on probation, Sloat said.
