Like to knit and talk politics? A new monthly Sunday conversation group starting May 25 might be just for you.|

A new conversation group, "Knitting Politics," is starting Sunday, May 25, and will continue to be held the fourth Sunday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aqus Cafe.

The group will be hosted by Tiffany Renee, web designer and chair of the city?s Technology and Telecommunications Advisory Committee. ?We will have conversation cafe-style morning, exchanging ideas and understanding other people?s viewpoints,? said John Crowley, co-owner of the cafe.

Conversation groups are held each Sunday at the cafe. The first Sunday is ?Spirit Matters,? in depth conversations about spirit, self and community, hosted by Ruah Bull. The second Sunday is ?Schools and Educational Issues in Petaluma? and the third Sunday is ?People, Places and Poetry? discussion group hosted by Geri DiGiorno and Nancy Long of LiveWire Literary Salon.

Aqus Cafe is located at Second and H streets. Call 778-6060 or visit www.aquscafe.com for more information.
