El Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, provides a way for people to embrace the beauty of life and to honor the spirits of the dead. 75+ intricate, traditional altars and sophisticated, complex art installations.

Altars for the Spirits/Offerings for the Living is dedicated to SF poet/activist Al Robles, who passed away May 2, 2009, and to Victor Mario Zaballa, SF artist who will undergo an organ transplant operation.

Tuesday to Friday, noon to 7 pm
Saturday noon to 5 pm
