THEATER: 'Almost, Maine'

At least five plays opened in Sonoma County last weekend, so theater fans are still catching up.

One production that shouldn?t be overlooked is Sonoma County Repertory Theater production of ?Almost, Maine,? John Cariani?s funny and touching play about the mid-winter antics of the denizens of a mythical town.

The show reunites director Sheri Lee Miller with actor Tim Kniffin, who collaborated last fall on the 6th Street Playhouse production of ?Death of Salesman? last fall. The cast also includes Liz Jahren, Dan Saski and Andrea Day.

Performances continue at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday. The production runs through Feb. 22 at 104 N. Main St., Sebastopol. $18-$23. 823-0177, the-rep.com.
