The Who's Tommy

Royal City Musical Productions (RCMPI) is pleased to present The Who's Tommy, featuring some of Guelph's best local performers recreating the classic sound of The Who. After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother's lover by his father following the Second World War, young Tommy is so traumatized that he loses his ability to speak or to care about life. As he grows he suffers abuse from sadistic relatives and neighbours. As an adolescent, he's discovered to have an uncanny knack for playing pinball, and becomes such an expert at the game that he rises to the stature of an international superstar and inspires youth around the world. The Who's Tommy contains some mature subject matter and loud music. Recommended for ages 12 and older. Please remember that everyone requires a ticket to enter the theatre, including children. Infants are not permitted into the theatre for this event.
